Nabi artist Pierre Bonnard, revered for his brushwork and style, created an extensive portfolio of interior scenes infused with color and light. Move through these painted places and spaces, from a table set for dinner to an open window overlooking the landscape, and a studio prepped for creativity to an intimate domestic dwelling.
Margaret Hancock is a professional writer in the art and philanthropy world and a lecturer as a member of the VMFA Statewide Faculty. She holds an M.Ed. from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in Art History from Duke University. In 2022, she was appointed Director of the VCA by Gov. Youngkin.
