Peter Winik

Past President, Wintergreen Music 

Peter Winik retired at the end of 2016 from the partnership of the global law firm Latham & Watkins LLC where he practiced in the Washington, D.C. office for 37 years. At Latham, he held numerous leadership positions, including Deputy Office Managing Partner, co-chair of the global Products Liability, Mass Torts and Consumer Class Action practice group, and chair of the Washington office Litigation Department. He recently concluded over six years of service as Board Chair of Ingenuity Prep, a Washington, D.C. charter school serving a high at-risk population, and serves on the Board of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He is a Past President of Washington Hebrew Congregation. He and his wife Sylvia, a learning specialist, have two grown children.
