Cultivating the next generation of musical leaders. Programs for students on the cusp of their professional careers with a focus on chamber music and leadership.
The LEAD Co-op offers limited spaces in each program in order to provide students with the opportunity to work closely with one another and maximize time with our outstanding faculty. Studies include program-specific classes, one-on-one meetings, cross-disciplinary workshops and masterclasses, and chamber music experience both within and outside of students’ primary discipline.
For years, we have worked closely with our team of faculty, staff and students to make our educational offerings as accessible and inclusive as possible with dedicated scholarships and special funding. We are pleased to share that tuition is FREE, thanks to the generous support of donors and granting organizations!

Wintergreen Music announces The 2025 LEAD Cooperative! Since our earliest days as an organization, Wintergreen Music has been committed to educating and welcoming the next generation of musicians to learn alongside our professional artists. This program is designed for students on the cusp of their professional careers with a focus on chamber music. The LEAD Co-op reflects an evolution of our Academy traditions that honors our past. It was crafted based on feedback from Academy alumni and is relevant to the needs of students today – now more than ever!
