Kenny Bader, English horn

Originally from Snellville, GA, Kenny Bader will be joining the Oregon Symphony as English horn/Utility oboe in Fall 2026. Prior to this appointment he served as Second oboe and English horn of the Charleston Symphony from 2024-2026, Principal oboe of the York Symphony Orchestra for the 2023-24 season, and Second oboe and Utility English horn of the Bozeman Symphony for the 2022-23 season. Additionally, he has had the pleasure of performing with numerous orchestras including the North Carolina Symphony, the Charlotte Symphony, the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Savannah Philharmonic, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, and many others. He holds a master’s degree from Temple University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia where he studied with Jonathan Blumenfeld and Dr. Reid Messich, respectively.
