Kimberly Ryan, viola

Kimberly has been performing and teaching viola, violin, and chamber music students for years, and currently directs the string orchestra programs at St. Catherine’s and St. Christopher’s Schools in Richmond. She can often be found playing viola as a freelancer in many professional ensembles, or presenting inventive chamber music programs with her quartet, Rosette.

Kimberly received a Bachelor of Music Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and attended the Cleveland Institute of Music as a graduate student, where she studied viola performance.

When she's not making music, she loves cooking, spending time with her niece and nephew, practicing yoga, and creating hand embroidered art.
