Thursday, July 2
After settling into your accommodations for the weekend, walk over to the Nature Center with the kids to spend the afternoon exploring Nelson County’s nature and history at The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen’s Trillium House. Kids can check out a stuffed bear, live snakes, and learn about the plants and animals of our lovely area. You can also grab a trail map at the Trillium House and explore some of Wintergreen’s 30+ miles of rugged trails!
Grab an early dinner at Upper Crust Pizza, then get ready for the electrifying and high-energy Opening Night Concert – Red, White & Blues: Bad Influence, with Special Guest Mary Shaver at 7:00 pm.
Friday, July 3
Head to the lobby of the Mountain Inn to grab some morning coffee at the Terrace Caféand to catch a free Coffee Talkwith Erin Freeman, where she’ll chat about Aaron Copland’s works featured during the Festival. After grabbing a custom hot sandwich from the Marketfor lunch,head down the mountain to explore Paul’s Creek Trail—a short hike that leads to a natural rock waterslide and swimming hole— or spend some time at Lake Monocan. On your way back up, stop by Blue Ridge Pigfor a quick dinner and Black Bear Creamery for dessert. Join the Wintergreen Festival Orchestra and guest conductor Tamara Dwortez at 7:00 pm for MountainTop Masterworks I: Youth, Joy, and Transcendence, featuring works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Aaron Copland, and Beethoven.
Saturday, July 4
Bring the family for a full day of fun at Wintergreen Resort’s July Jubilee. From the mountain village, enjoy food, vendors, scenic chairlift rides, and live music all day long, as well as activities, games, crafts, and a giant slide and bounce house for the kids! Head to the Dunlop Pavilion at 6:30 pm forAn American Salute with Orchestra for a sparkling mix of Broadway hits, film favorites, and patriotic classics that kids and grandparents alike will enjoy before the slopeside fireworks.
Sunday, July 5
After breakfast at theCopper Mine, check out the family friendly activities at Discovery Ridge, and stop by Fire & Frost for delicious pizzas for lunch that you can enjoy in house or take up to the picnic benches at the very top of the mountain. Before heading home, stop by the Rockfish Valley Community Centerto let the kids play at the James M. Cowley Community Playground and to get some coffee for the road at Trager Brothers Coffee.

Check into Wintergreen Resort and start your weekend early by heading to Valley Road Vineyards to take the stress off, relax, and savor an evening of chamber music at Mix, Mingle & Music I: Vibrancy at the Vineyard at 7:00 pm.
Friday, July 10
Make reservations to challenge your friends to a game of tennis or pickleball at the Resort’s Racquet Sports Facilities, grab a bite to eat at The Edge, and spend the afternoon learning the art of Fly Fishing at Wintergreen Resort’s Lake Monocan. Spend the day hunting at PriestView Hunting Preserve, then head to Bryant’s Cidery and Brewery for drinks and an early dinner. Then, sure to sell out, grab a cold beer or cider and some friends to catch the vibrant sound of The Adrian Duke Project in an evening where groove, soul, and storytelling take center stage at 7:30 pm.

Before heading out of town, play a round of golf with the guys at Stoney Creek Golf Course and stop by Pauline’s Pig Out for some good ol’ fashioned BBQ lunch.

Stop by the Market for coffee and donuts before heading over to the Blue Ridge Overlook to take in the sweeping mountain views and listen to the rich, mellow sounds of low brass during a quick Community Pop-Up Concert: Rich & Mellow – Low Brass in the Blue Ridge at 10:30 am. Then, spend the day navigating diverse terrains on horseback with Appalachian Horse Adventures or King Family Vineyards Ride with Indian Summer Guides. Then, grab an early dinner at Three Notch’d Brewing Company before heading back to the MountainTop to take your seat in the Dunlop Pavilion for a dynamic blend of jazz, gospel, and blues in Roots & Rhythms III: The Desirée Roots Trio & The Wintergreen Festival Orchestra at 7:30 pm.

After swinging by Iron and Ale for brunch, take a leisurely and scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway to wrap up your weekend. Stop by 12 Ridges Winery for panoramic views unlike any other!

Drive across the street for brunch and a free Community Pop-Up Concert at Belties at 10:00 am. Then, head back up the mountain for some retail therapy at Wintergreen Resort’s Blue Ridge Boutique. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the Resort’s Aquatic Center, grab some dinner at Fire & Frost, and head to Dunlop Pavilion for a high-energy evening with GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist and vocalist Trey Hensley and his band during Roots & Rhythms IV: Trey Hensley Band at 7:30 pm.
