Friday, July 4
After settling into your accommodations for the weekend, walk over to the Nature Center with the kids to spend the afternoon exploring Nelson County’s nature and history at The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen’s Trillium House. Kids can check out a stuffed bear, live snakes, and learn about the plants and animals of our lovely area. You can also grab a trail map at the Trillium House and explore some of Wintergreen’s 30+ miles of rugged trails!
Grab an early dinner at Upper Crust Pizza, then get ready for the festive and high-energy Opening Night Concert – Jazz with John Winn & Friends at 7:30 pm.
Saturday, July 5
Bring the family for a full day of fun at Wintergreen Resort’s July Jubilee. From the mountain village, enjoy food, vendors, scenic chairlift rides, and live music all day long, as well as activities, games, crafts, and a giant slide and bounce house for the kids! Head to the Dunlop Pavilion at 6:00 pm for An American Salute with Orchestra for Broadway, film, and patriotic favorites so the kids and grandparents can all clap along before the fireworks!
Sunday, July 6
Check out the family friendly activities at Discovery Ridge, order a custom hot sandwich from the Market for lunch, then meet us in the Dunlop Pavilion at 2:00 pm before the concert for a casual, behind-the-scenes look at the music you’ll hear on MountainTop Masterworks I at 3:00 pm. Whether you’re into classical music or not, bring the whole family as the Wintergreen Festival Orchestra plays music to match the mountain views! After the concert, head down the mountain and grab dinner at Blue Ridge Pig. Bonus points for stopping by Black Bear Creamery for an ice cream cone for dessert!
Monday, July 7
After breakfast at the Copper Mine, catch the Coffee Talk with Kamna Gupta where she’ll chat about life as a conductor in the Mountain Inn Hearth Room. Stop by Fire & Frost for delicious pizzas for lunch that you can enjoy in house or take up to the picnic benches at the very top of the mountain! Afterwards, enjoy the afternoon at Lake Monocan before heading back home (or, head back up the mountain to catch another performance of MountainTop Masterworks I at 7:00 pm!)

Start your morning browsing and buying local produce and goods from the Nelson County Farmers Market in Stoney Creek. Then enjoy lunch at the charming Basic Necessities before heading back up the mountain for some retail therapy at the Blue Ridge Boutique. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the Resort’s Aquatic Center, grab some dinner at Fire & Frost, and join the Wintergreen Festival Orchestra in Dunlop Pavilion for Magic, Majesty & Music with Mélisse Brunet at 7:00 pm.
Sunday, July 13
Spend the morning pampering yourself with incredible massages, nail, and spa treatments in one of the most unique and relaxing settings you can imagine at the Wintergreen Resort Spa. On your way home, stop by Sweet Bliss Bakery for tasty homemade pastries.

After a relaxing morning, enjoy brunch in the garden of Basic Necessities, take. a leisurely drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway to wrap up your weekend mountain escape. Bonus points if you meander to the hidden jewel of the parkway: 12 Ridges Vineyard with panoramic views unlike any other.
